Our task? Create something highly shareable and intriguing for a show no one had heard of.
Welcome to Hawkins, IN
Guests time traveled to Hawkins, IN, 1983. We created Insta-Bait everywhere to set the mood, mimic moments from the show, and generate fun, socially sharable content. For the screening itself, the cast, producers, and influential audience enjoyed the first two episodes via a mix of 80’s inspired sofas, classic theater seating, and schoolhouse folding chairs.
As the credits rolled (and the crowd cheered), actors dressed in lab suits mysteriously guided guests through a smoke and haze-filled hallway to the nostalgia fueled after-party. Iconic 80’s toys like D&D, Teddy Ruxpin, and Rubik’s Cubes transformed our after-party into the ultimate kid’s rec room while eerie Missing Child posters nodded to the show’s storyline.
