Bringing the Heart of Game Day to Sports Fans
College football is life to die hard fans. So, when Dos Equis wanted to launch a tailgate tour to connect with fans, we had to come out…marching. Knowing the heart of game day is the school’s marching band, we created a 36 piece mechanical marching band which played fight songs and any songs fans wanted to hear upon request.

Our mechanical marching band played any request. All fans had to do was take a photo, and tag Dos Equis on Insta with their song pick. As our ‘band’ played fans’ songs, a giant scoreboard displayed karaoke-style lyrics so that everyone could sing along.
Giving Fans the (Foam) Finger
Along with the marching band, we tapped into other iconic game day elements to build fan excitement, including an oversized foam finger photo op that was both fun and functional, featuring a CTA for fans to “Get A Dos” at our full-service Dos Equis sampling bar.
Marching Our Way to the Rose Bowl
Known as the “Granddaddy Of Them All,” the finale of our 10-stop tour took place at the epic Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, CA where we made beautiful music for tens of thousands of energized fans in attendance.
